DINER IN THE STORMFIELD GUIDE

A field guide to the CrazyGames build

A diner, a storm, and eight ways to leave

Diner in the Storm is a point-and-click horror story by Maxim Tsai. This site records what the browser build actually prints, screen by screen.

The title screen, a stick-figure trucker at the wheel of a grey truck, with BEGIN, CREDITS and the ACHIEVEMENTS tab.
What this shows the whole first screen, including the two ways into the game and the tab that records which endings you have reached. Captured 2026-11-06 Client web build 2026-11-06 Plate 1

What this site is

It is a field guide to Diner in the Storm as it plays in a browser tab on CrazyGames. Everything below was read off that build on 2026-11-06: the strings it prints, the screens it shows, and the places where we could not get far enough to say anything.

The game itself: you are a trucker who pulls into the Wayside Diner to wait out a storm, you talk to the owner and the guests, and your replies decide who leaves with you and how the night ends. It is drawn in stick figures, it is played entirely by clicking, and the text is English only.

The shape of a run

  1. BEGIN on the title screen, then a short intro you can skip.
  2. Maggie, behind the counter, tells you to find a seat.
  3. The goal line at the top left says what the story wants next, starting with Find an empty seat.
  4. You move along the diner with the grey arrows at the screen edges, talk to people, and pick replies when they appear.
  5. Three acts turn, the power fails, and the storm decides whether you go.

Where we are honest about the edges

This guide is being built as it is played. Pages that need a full route to a specific ending say so until we have walked that route; the endings table marks which conditions we have seen ourselves and which come from the developer's own list. A page that says the client printed something has a frame behind it.

Start with how a run works, then the eight endings, or jump straight to the best ending if that is what you came for.
