DINER IN THE STORMFIELD GUIDE

A field guide to the CrazyGames build

The three people the client names

The game prints a name plate above every line of dialogue. In the first room it names three people. This page is those names, where they stand, and the first thing each of them says.

The booth close-up — Edith on the left of the table, Ethan on the right, the radio on a side table and a television on the wall showing colour bars.
What this shows the booth close-up with both guests at the table, the radio on its table and the television on the wall. Captured 2026-11-06 Client web build 2026-11-06 Plate 4

The names, in the order we met them

namewherefirst line we saw
Maggiebehind the counter, in the first screen“Come on in honey, and close the door behind you. Lord knows the rain ain't gonna let you get any further tonight.”
Edithin the red booth, left side of the table“I can't believe this rain.”
Ethanin the red booth, right side of the table“But c'mon it's not that bad. Just relax. We can stay here for as long as we want.”
Juanalone at a table on the far side of the room“What are you looking at?”

The conversation with Juan, in order, is worth quoting whole, because it is the only exchange on the site so far where the player has a line:

Juan: What are you looking at? You: Just looking for a seat. Juan: This booth's taken. Juan: Ain't you seen the news? These ain't friendly times.

That is how the game declines to give you a seat: not with a locked door, with a paragraph.

The name plate sits above the dialogue box and is the only label the game gives them. There is no portrait gallery, no character menu and no bios screen: the name appears while they speak and goes away with the line. The player's own lines are labelled You.

What the drawing tells you

Each of them is a different stick figure, and the difference is the whole of the character design:

That is it. There are no walk cycles to watch in the booths, because nobody there moves.

What we have not learned

Those four are the next session's list. Until they are answered, this page sticks to what the dialogue plates printed.

The television

The wall behind them carries a television showing colour bars, and the bars move. We have not found a way to click it, and we do not know whether it is decor or a later puzzle. It is listed here because it is the only moving thing in the room.
