DINER IN THE STORMFIELD GUIDE

A field guide to the CrazyGames build

How this site is tested

One rule decides what gets written here — a sentence needs a screen behind it. This page is what that rule looks like in practice.

A diner scene from one of our own sessions, with the rain drawn over the frame and the counter lighting.
What this shows one of our own session frames — the plate is the receipt for the sentence next to it. Captured 2026-11-06 Client web build 2026-11-06 Plate 5

What counts as evidence

Three things, in this order of strength:

  1. A frame we captured ourselves, with the date in the plate caption.
  2. A string the client printed, quoted word for word, with the screen it appeared on named in the text.
  3. A claim the developer or the portal makes, always labelled as theirs and never as a fact about the build.

Anything else does not go in. If a page needs a fact we do not have, the page says the fact is missing instead of filling the gap with what is likely.

What we write when we cannot get it

Every page on this site carries a Not tested block. It is not a formality: it is the list of questions the page would have answered if it could. The /radio/ page, for example, prints three ways we tried to turn the dial and says plainly that the needle did not move, because that is what happened.

We also keep a refusal list — things other guides often state that we will not write without a screen:

Why this site is single-language

We tested whether a translated version would be worth building, and the answer was no. Searching Google's own suggestions in nine languages returned 17 suggestions in English and nothing in any other language, and the non-English results for this game were pages translated from English rather than written in a local language. A translated guide nobody looks for helps nobody, so this site is English only. The test is written down in research/language-cert-2026-11-06.md if you want the raw numbers.

Dates

Every plate carries the date it was captured, and every page footer carries the date the page was last checked against the client. When the two disagree, the page is stale and we say so at the top of it.

Corrections

If a page here says something the game does not do, the fix is a screen. Send the screen to [email protected] and the page gets rewritten rather than annotated.
