DINER IN THE STORMFIELD GUIDE

A field guide to the CrazyGames build

Find an empty seat: what the client accepts

The goal line says find an empty seat. Both booths in the room are occupied and say so when clicked. This page records every place we tried, so the next person does not repeat it.

The line itself

After Maggie's opening dialogue the client prints, in the top left of the frame:

Goal: Find an empty seat

It is the only objective text in the first act we have seen. It is not a persistent HUD element: leaving the screen and coming back removes it, and it reappears at the counter once her dialogue runs again.

What the room offers

The diner is four screens wide, walked with the edge arrows:

screenwhat is on itseat status
1counter, Maggie, framed card, cupno stool drawn, nothing clickable under the counter
2counter edge, radio on its table, red booth on the rightoccupant visible, clicking the booth gives nothing
3radio, table with Edith and EthanEdith: "Oh, sorry this booth's taken."
4table with JuanJuan: "This booth's taken."

Two refusals are printed in full on the booths page. Both use the same dialogue box, the same name plate and the same advance arrow as story dialogue, which is why they read as answers rather than as error messages.

What we tried

On each screen we clicked the visible seat areas: the booth cushions, the table tops, the floor in front of the counter, the counter front, the drawer, the cup, the framed card and the empty wall. Nothing opened a seat, and nothing changed the goal line.

We also hovered the same points. The only hover glyph in the room belongs to Maggie, as described on the hover-hints page; no second glyph appeared anywhere on the floors or the booths.

What that leaves

Either the seat is behind something we did not click, or the objective resolves by story progress rather than by clicking a chair. We are not going to guess which. The walkthrough page therefore ends at this point and says so plainly.
